Here I am cleaning up the edges of the veneer, I found sanding the excess rather than flush routing them gave me a cleaner finish. Pressing the veneer was quite a tough process. This was due to the cavity’s and shape already being cut to size
Today was spent prepping a body for its Flame maple veneer and gluing the veneers together. This is one of my favourite guitar making jobs to do. It is a calm and dust free job that gives me time to reflect on how I’m feeling. I hope everyone
